When and where
On Saturday 3 October 2026, LPGC. Calles con arte takes place in Calle Zaragoza and the surrounding streets in Schamann, from 11:00 to 20:00 Canary Islands time. The main stage will be at Zaragoza, 26, by the Tristana mural. Other activity areas will be near Pablo Penáguilas and Doña Perfecta. This is a municipal event, not organised by QEDA.
What to look out for
The programme brings together murals inspired by Galdós, neighbourhood theatre, music and dance. A reading by IES Schamann students is scheduled for 11:30; Barrios Orquestados - Schamann will perform at around 19:00. More murals are due over the coming weeks, so don’t expect the whole project to be finished this Saturday. Pick part of the day and leave time to look around without turning the visit into a checklist.
An easy plan to share
Our suggestion: agree on a time and a specific meeting point, walk along part of the street together, then decide whether to stay for a performance. Zaragoza will be closed to traffic between Pablo Penáguilas and Doña Perfecta from Friday 2 until the early hours of Sunday 4. Check the municipal programme before leaving; the announcement does not specify booking or capacity conditions for each workshop.
