Writing brought back to the stage
Franca, by El Gato Engrifao, draws on Franca Rame’s writing to explore inequality, guilt and the silencing of women. The introduction on LPA Cultura asks how much has changed and which patterns keep repeating. This is the production’s approach, rather than a claim about every woman’s life. It gives you something to talk about after the show.
When to go and which price to check
The listed performance is Thursday 8 October 2026 at 20:00 at Espacio Cultural Jesús Arencibia, Tamaraceite, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The municipal calendar gives an end time of 21:30, Canary Islands time. Checked on 4 October, LPA Cultura lists €10, while the official ticket page shows prices from €11. Check the final amount and terms with Entradas Canarias; we have not established why the prices differ. Its header says 8 to 9 October, but the visible session is on the 8th.
