What’s happened and what’s next
Vegueta’s Fiestas del Rosario are under way until 11 October 2026. The opening events and Rosario de Países gathering on 27 September have already taken place. For this week, the council lists a CoMCanTo concert on Thursday 1 October at the Ermita de Nuestra Señora de los Reyes, and the XVII Feria del Coleccionismo de Gran Canaria on Saturday 3 October in Plaza de Santo Domingo.
Leave time for a wander
For a change of scene, pick one of those events and leave time to explore Vegueta. Our suggestion: agree on a specific meeting point, see what interests you and decide afterwards whether to stop for a drink. There’s no need to turn the afternoon into a ten-stop itinerary. These are neighbourhood programme events; QEDA is neither organising them nor arranging a meetup.
